the 65 ha competition site is defined by several major traffic axes which divide the area into three individual parts. this provides the base for three city quarters with individual characteristics and unique spatial expressions.

a precise spatial gestalt of the public spaces and their relation to each other as well as a balanced mixture and a moderate density are the parameter of the design which create urbanity and innercity recreation.
