| the thesis is based on the coherence of technological development and society, business economy and formation of the city. in this context the research project explores the actual influence of media technology to the european cities and the transformation of urban space. besides the consideration of the current situation and phenomena, history, sociology, economy and planning regularities, the thesis focuses on the investigation of an alternative city planning strategy. this "morphological and process-oriented planning strategy" is examined at the city of munich as an example. thereby, the strategy defines a new interpretation of the relation between publicity and planning, perception and space. |  |
